PIF Pro is a browser extension we provide to authorized PCS Pay It Forward ambassadors and group moderators. This section explains the data it handles.
What it collects: When an ambassador approves or captures a new member from a Facebook group’s member-request page, PIF Pro saves the details Facebook displays for that person — their name, Facebook profile link, membership-question answers, and an email address only if the member provided one. Ambassadors may also record follow-up notes, tags, PCS arrival dates, and housing preferences. We also store each ambassador’s account email and a log of their in-app activity (members welcomed, leads captured, messages sent).
How we use it: Solely to help ambassadors welcome and follow up with new members. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
Where it’s stored and who can see it: Data is stored in Supabase (a hosted database) and protected so that each ambassador can see only the contacts they captured; program administrators can see all contacts for oversight. Captured contacts are also exported to a Google Sheet we maintain.
The extension does not read your Facebook messages, friends, or timeline, and it takes no action without the ambassador’s click.
